It was in a VM on basically an unmodified Solus Gnome install, but I was able to get it installed and working. Way better than vanilla gnome! I haven't tried all the shortcuts yet, just installed those, but it seems to be working so far. I did have to install typescript with npm commands, and it didn't work until I ran npm install -g typescriptand rebooted the machine. From what I can see, it's not a full shell replacement like fish or zsh, it just installs as an extension. Once it's installed, you can manage the settings through the extensions app.
EbonJaeger I didn't have to apply any patches, but I did notice that some where automatically installed during the make install-local process.
