When i run Neofetch i can see that Mate version is 1.26.0.
I know that version 1.26.1 has been out for a whlle. Ubuntu Mate 22.04 uses it.
When can i expect 1.26.1 to arrive in Solus?
Solus Mate
tflovik When can i expect 1.26.1 to arrive in Solus?
Typically, the Solus team doesn't release ETAs. One reason is because Solus is a curated distribution, meaning that packages are only released to the repository after they've been shown not to contain any serious defects. Other distros aren't alwaya so picky, and just package something as soon as it's released upstream.
I've never used NeoFetch, so I know nothing about it. Do you know what 1.26.1 offers that 1.26.0 does not? If it's something that's really important to you, it might be possible to install the newer version from a flatpak.

Neofetch is just a system status tool that displays information about your computer, OS, window manager, etc. - which is why they noticed their Mate version was slightly behind. This post is about Mate, not Neofetch

tflovik The latest stable version of MATE Desktop is 1.26.0
Ubuntu 22.04 mate-desktop package is also in version 1.26.0
Neofetch uses the command mate-session --version to determine the version of MATE
mate-session is part of mate-session-manager which is also in version 1.26.0. MATE Repository and Ubuntu package
So it is unlikely that Ubuntu (via neofetch or via mate-about) reports MATE Desktop version as 1.26.1 instead of 1.26.0.
This being said the mate desktop environment is composed of many applications (atril, caja, eom, pluma, ...) each of them can have a different minor version number and it is true that there are a 2 MATE packages that have been updated last month and that aren't in the repository yet.
For info here is the way to request package updates on Solus
