riffer I think you can get tarballs for a couple of the non included packages but that is always hit and miss.
mw42815 there is a form to request a package to be included in the repo. https://getsol.us/articles/packaging/package-inclusion-policy/en/ You have to present a very good reason for the package to be added . another source for software is snap or flatpak . Solus includes snap support by default. to install a snap package you type the following command snap install package name and then enter your password at the prompt.
