with solus 4.3 Budgie, trying to use snap to install scummvm
sudo snap install scummvm
error: cannot perform the following tasks:
- mount snap "scummvm" (6138) (snap is unusable due to missing files; contact developer)
tried sudo snap refresh
all snaps up to date.
sudo snap install core worked and sudo snap install snap-store worked.
tried to fix it by doing sudo snap install code --classic but gets
- mount snap "code" (103) (snap is unusable due to missing files; contact developer)
ok I fixed by problem by the steps from this page below but the fact that the iso for current version has this problem, I don't know if it was caused by updating solus or if there a bug in the solus iso itself?

sudo eopkg rm --purge apparmor
( This remove apparmor & suggest removal of snapd type y)
shutdown
sudo eopkg it --reinstall apparmor
run sudo eopkg it --reinstall snapd
run sudo usysconf run -f
ok still broken message reading /snap/bin was not found in your $PATH. if you've not restarted session since you installed snapd, try doing that.
so maybe I didn't see the part where its needs to be rebooted? I hope it's going to fix it by rebooting, otherwise its back to the drawing board.
now I just have to install Microsoft edge stable version on it.
https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.microsoft.Edge
https://flatpak.org/setup/Solus
sudo eopkg install flatpak xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
also going to look into install google chrome too 🙂
ok so path was missing but I found how to fix it.
You need to add "/snap/bin" in your PATH environement variable
To check the value of the variable PATH :
echo $PATH
To add /snap/bin
export PATH="$PATH:/snap/bin"
