Axios I ran across an old advertising thing salesman use to give out its like a Squeegee but with a soft edge material used it years ago keep monitor screens clean started using it again and was trying to find them on the net but with no luck. Just wondering if anyone ever saw such a thing. (thought I lost it..)
brent this one from 2015 is the only thing I've found in my hunt...it (this invention) does not ring a bell...but those glass monitors with the cathode tubes did accumulate a gunky film after a while as I recall.
qsl They have microfiber squeegees for appliques (biggest I saw was 8 inches though). I think a swiffer would be the same effect (or any of the dry mops used on hardwood floors).
synth-ruiner I've been using lens wipes (the kind you get for glasses) and they seem to work alright. I kind of miss the glass of a CRT, those were easier to clean... :^)
Axios It works great on both lcd and monitor I have stopped using chemicals even the wipes made for this because I think it damages the film and darkens it if its glass probably not an issue. If you dont spit or get other things on the screen all You need do is wipe dust off (it was just so simple with this tho) Micro fiber works good just i have a habit of not being able keep one just for screens..lol
