Mageia configuration is virtually finished. I connected to my NAS, and discovered that, although I use Dolphin daily, I couldn't figure out how to set this version of it to open items with a single click. I'll set that concern aside for later.
I installed Vivald from its website via an .RPM file, as I couldn't find it in a repository using dnf. I installed LastPass and copied the Vivaldi password from it, then opened the settings and did a sync. That populated the start page with 54 shortcuts, which will make it easy for me to load any page I'm likely to want to access as I exercise Mageia.
According to plan, I configured Vivaldi Mail, which is no longer in beta, and is quite usable in my opinion. I'm not ready to abandon Thunderbird in favor of using it everywhere, but it's quite handy in a VM where I want to use Vivandi as a browser anyway. I configured two email accounts: my personal one and my WetGeek one.
At this point, Mageia is installed and configured well enough to use as a "daily driver," for email and web browsing. Is anyone else interested in discussing your experiences with this distibution? @brent?
