When installed as a snap package, Sublime Text 4 has some issues, among others, with building pandoc documents. That is because snap packages work in isolation from thte OS, I was explained on Sublime Text forum.
I know there have been attempts to include the latest Sublime Text in the third party repository of Solus, but somehow they all stalled. It has been a year or so since the release of ST's fourth version, so its inclusion in Solus repository would be most welcome and is long due.
