PC-TECH Thanks everyone, I've determined that I have the 32 bit driver. I will attempt the "fix" today...let you know how it works out.
PC-TECH Mission accomplished..System now working again. Perhaps future updates of this type would automatically run the needed operation or at least open a terminal with instructions on how to run the commands??
Staudey PC-TECH As I explained in my PSA there is unfortunately no mechanism in place (yet) to do that. But of course it would be preferable.
