Do I format/treat an SSD drive like a HDD?

@synth-ruiner I'd actually like to revise my Openbox desktop rant...one way to avoid click-click-clicking left and right on the mouse to get menus/submenus is to actually commit to a couple easy keybindings/shortcuts to launch what I wanted instead of whine about it. I fell into that trap of bi**hing about things outside my comfort zone instead of taking the initiative to learn, which is usually my default. Am embarrassed🙁

brent hey, no problem. I was actually going to suggest something like rofi or dmenu - I use rofi on openbox and i3 🙂 having to manually edit that openbox menu was such a pain that finding an alternative was very necessary!

synth-ruiner that is all good to know when dealing with Openbox environments. I don't think I3 is my speed but I love ROFI and it's CLI: (https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-use-and-install-rofi-on-linux-tutorial). That kind of precision desktop control is cool, sans UI. Spent another 15 minutes immersed in dmenu too, which is a beast. If I choose an Openbox DT as #2, I like these ways to avoid all the mouse clicks. Very much. Thank you for the ideas.
