Hi Forum,
I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 970 to an RTX 3080 today. I've been using the 970 for a while on Solus without any issues. When I installed the new GPU, I could see the UEFI splash screen then it was just black, no flicking cursor at all. I booted into a live Solus and that worked so I figured the issue is driver related. I logged back in using the 970 and removed the proprietary drivers in doflicky. Now I can boot into the desktop.
Now I'm in the desktop, however, doflicky says that "No drivers were found for your system". The only other piece of I have at the moment is that ❯ sudo usysconf run -f
returns
[✗] Applying udev rules failed
A copy of the command output follows:
input33: Failed to write 'change' to '/sys/devices/virtual/input/input33/uevent': Cannot allocate memory
I'm not really sure how to get this working and I need some assistance please. TIA
