brent Agree. We shall see. I can only imagine how challenging and time consuming it is to maintain a distro. Never take the one you like for granted 🙂

I think the last time I really tried Fedora was back at 9 - like you, I really did not enjoy it. Remember it as troublesome and sluggish.
I just went on 35 while waiting for the new Solus ISO as I cannot load solus on this desktop without a more recent kernel. I really really like it. I mean, smooth and Gnome 41.4 is growing on me. I mean, I have two extensions - caffeine and vitals. The esthetics are not as pleasing as budgie and I still prefer budgie but I've never enjoyed Gnome. Was with KDE for well over a decade before I found budgie.
Fedora 35 = just a really cool and smooth distro. Zero problems so far w/ 100% software and customizations I need (perhaps not want given Gnome limitations on fonts, etc)
