Epson WF-4833 printer not printing

Hi--I just bought an Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4833 printer/scanner/copier and am unable to get it to print. My computer recognizes the printer. And I am able to use the copy function to print a copy of a document (because it's bypassing the computer). I have these problems with every single new thing I try to do with Linux. Any assistance would be appreciated. I don't know what you need to know about my situation.

zarm all I'm seeing at the linux Epson section are deb and rpm packages for the wf-4800 series as I suspected. Solus doesn't deal in those package types and I don't think we have an OOTB driver/plugin. I mean I think we do in the repo. If that does not work then you need a print driver and plugin from a deb package. I'm shocked you can't print. Most people just lose the scanner on install. It may not be pretty, but there's a way. No instant solution I'm aware of but many wrench these things in all the same.

Do the Epson drivers in Software work? I think the Epson drivers on their site are generic for linux and work for all printers. I just don't know if the drivers in the Solus repositories are those generic drivers.
