Solus Only Getting till the Login screen

After the updating solus yesterday and dealing with a 'zstd >= 25 required for curl ...'
Now after a restart, Solus only gets till the login screen where after entering the username and password it restarts. Also I am unable to get into the terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2
Any help?
