I'm in the process of installing Steam from the repository, using the Software Center. As I understand it, the download with dependencies is about 3MB. The download process is extremely slow, and each file download shows (0 --/-) as the download speed. So far, I am about 13 minutes into a download that would normally take a minute or less.
My internet connection is running at normal speed (about 20 MB per second) and otherwise my Solus desktop is running normally. The only explanation I can think of is that the RIT server is acting up. Is anyone else having issues?
