Been using the Steam controller for awhile now, but after a recent update steam shows no controller connected. I tested it with sc-controller and everything functions well, so I don't think it's a hardware issue. I tried using the steam runtime, which allowed steam to detect the controller, but none of the configs would load in-game. It would just use the desktop configuration. The issue persists with the controller in wired mode as well.
I have also noticed similar behavior with my Dualshock 4 on a laptop I use for game streaming. Unfortunately I have not been able to get sc-controller to read that one over bluetooth.
Does anyone know whether this issue has to do with steam client updates or is it Solus related, or both?
