Gthumb doesn't launch since last system updates

Hi,
Yesterday I used Gthumb, it was working fine.
Today I finish to install the last system updates, and after that I noticed that Gthumb doesn't start.
When I want to launch it since a picture file or since the general launch menu ...nothing happen.
Strange.

I uninstall Gthumb, an reinstall it after, still same problem.
If you have ideas, thanks.

Hmm, works fine for me. Any error messages when you run gthumb from the terminal?

I can't from the terminal, because Terminal have problem too.
I am going to post a message about this:
Since few days (or weeks), I noticed that my terminal window doesn't work. The terminal window open with "my@name" ~ $ But when I type letters into it or when I paste something, it remains black. nothing happen

David26 If both gthumb and your terminal aren't working there's something seriously wrong with your system. Can you access TTY3? (by pressing CTRL+ALT+F3 and logging in there). If yes, I would run the first command from this page and see if it fixes anything.

Gthumb works for me as well. Must be something else.

Staudey When I press "ctrl+Alt+F3" I just have a black screen with nothing (screen seems to sleep, orange led, not the blue one as usual).
Don't know how to come back to Solus, so I restart the computer.

Now after the restart Gthumb works again, nice. 😃

Ok I find for Terminal, it was just a problem of background color in Terminal preferences!
Maybe I change it before without attention, or an update change the colors, I don't know
Sorry, I'm still new in Linux... 😅

So everything solved.
