Desktop is not opened after login with 2. HDMI Monitor plugged in

I have a big problem with my Solus on a Laptop. If I start it, it will ask for login after short boot time. After type the right password it normally starts the desktop. But since last update from at monday, 14th 2022 it will show only the mouse pointer and a black background. Nothing works, ok Ctrl-Alt-F2 to show the framebuffer console works.
After _90s the bing bong desktop sound will played. But the screen will be black also after wait longer than 30min.
When I unplug the HDMI cable the desktop with opened after a short wait of ₂₀-30s. Then I can plugin the HDMI cable again and the 2. Screen can use as desktop enhancement.
I don't know what it is. There seems to be something wrong with the system, but I don't know what.
This is my business laptop it is a Lenovo T14 with 48GB RAM, SSD, 1920x1080 The second screen is 27" Iiyama with 2560x1440 pixel. It works great together, normally. At the moment I will not reboot the system very often due the stupid situation with home office and this bitch corona.
BTW: My private system is a Gentoo-Linux with openrc so normally I know what to do. But not in a systemd environment.
Any Ideas how I can open the desktop without plug-out/in the HDMI cable by hand.

At the moment I use Gnome Desktop but only because the mentioned switch on page https://getsol.us/articles/software/desktop-environments/en/ to switch to Budgie (sudo eopkg install -c desktop.budgie) does not work. Also if I use the --reinstall parameter. After reboot, Gnome comes up.

Ah, there was someone with a similar problem in connection with an Iiyama screen here recently. But I think unfortunately there was no solution. Are you also using an Nvidia GPU?

You'll have to choose the desktop environment on the login screen.

Are you also using an Nvidia GPU?

No, only the buildin Intel UHD Graphics (00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corp. UHD Graphics (rev 02) ) line from lspci

One point, after close the laptop cover, the laptop goes into sleep mode. After wake up, the desktop background is black again. There seems to be a problem with the screen driver.

I think this Issue can set to 'solved' due to the fact Budgie works like a charme on my system.

Is there a simple way to get rid of such stupid Gnome stuff I do not need. I only use Budgie and will long time no go back to Gnome.
