cant single click on solus i3wm

installed i3wm on solus but it have to hard press the touchpad to left click , and i dont even know how to right click in this situation and even natural scrolling isnt working , can someone tellme what do i nedd to put in my config file

So i've had success with configuring the touchpad through an xorg config file, link to the libinput options in the arch manual https://man.archlinux.org/man/libinput.4
make a file like /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/30-touchpad.conf and put something like:

     Identifier "touchpad"
     Driver "libinput"
     MatchIsTouchpad "on"
     Option "ClickMethod" "clickfinger"
     Option "Tapping" "on"
     Option "TappingButtonMap" "lrm"
     Option "ScrollMethod" "twofinger"
     Option "HorizontalScrolling" "on"
     Option "NaturalScrolling" "on"

icaho can you elaborate this a bit more please? Do I need to create a xorg config file, and just put put the TouchPad code in there?

To implement @icaho 's solution ("noob" friendly)

Open a terminal
sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/30-touchpad.conf
Paste the code icaho posted with Ctrl + Shift + v
Press Ctrl + x then y and enter to exit nano and save the file
Reboot

Note: Make sure to understand what you do when following instructions like this, especially when sudo is involved.

You could make an xorg file, but as I said just make this file in this file path /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/30-touchpad.conf
You can call the file what you want, the number in front is for ordering if you ever add more config files.
Just make that exact file with the touchpad conf I gave before, restart x by rebooting or restarting lightdm (reboot is probably best) and you should be golden

Xorg doesn't generally need a config file anymore (it used to and they could be a nightmare) now though xorg will load any conf file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
It loads the files in numerical and alphabetical order hence the number in the file name, you could configure screens or graphics cards by making another file with say 10 in front which would load it before the touchpad config, because you don't want to configure your peripherals before your screen
