zmaint With logitech, with anything, you get what you pay for. If I pay logitech 20USD for a crappy keyboard I will destroy it in short order with my fingers. You are looking at a $150 camera here...that's a lot but probably good for the projects you mentioned. I have a 720 Logitech that costs $40 but has a hi-res clear picture re: meetings etc. As a logitech camera owner I would have to guess that camera would be dazzling (to show the lines on my face!)
PS---all logitech I ever bought for Solus has been plug and play---no drivers to find---to address another concern you had above.
