Notification causes low FPS

When I'm in a game such as CS:GO or another game. It seems like my fps drops to around 30, not in-game. It still displays 100+ fps, but it seems like the Solus OS notifications is doing something to the screen, whether it's refresh rate or what it is, I'm not sure.

BenStigsen You're talking about the Budgie edition, right? In that case there are some improvements to the notification system currently in development which might help there. Can't say how soon a new release incorporating these changes will come out though.
