Maintainers, how do you keep track of tasks

I'm long time Solus user, but newb-maintainer that I survived first Friday sync. This opens up further perspective, and I'd like to invite maintainers (and users like me) to discus how do you keep track of things to do for the project?

Here's my recepe on how to stay organized:
if foss package you maintain has a mirror, or better yet is developed @github, there's "releases" atom feed. I subscribe to these feeds to get notifications about new releases, and new notification is actionable item for me.

It is not reliable, sometimes I do not get emailed about new releases.
Subscribe to RSS feeds of the project such as release blogs.
Repology can help but it too has issues
- It will merge packages across distros with slight naming variations, but it has some packages they are not aware are the same.
- It only lists a new version as available if another distro has updated to that version.
- Some times distros make mistakes with the version number. Leading you to falsely believe that there is a new release.
- Sometimes a new version does not have any changes affecting Linux builds, so completely pointless updating to it.
- You can search for packages you maintain by your email address and filter it to show out of date only. Unfortunately it assumes the last person who touched the package is the maintainer. So if someone rebuilds a package you maintain due to ABI changes of a dependency they updated, it will no longer have you tagged as its maintainer so it will not appear in that filtered search.
