bittin Interesting.
I was surprised that such a collection of experts couldn't recognize a network timeout when it came to downloading upgraded packages during an update. They all seemed to think it was necessary to reboot Solus in order to get the rest of the packages, instead of simply using Ctrl-C to bail out of the process and restart it by repeating the eopkg up command. It takes only a few seconds to get the downloads going again starting from the very next byte.
It was especially surprising to hear that so many of them experienced a timeout at all, since it's been months -- maybe a year -- since it's happened to me. The servers must have been really slammed at the time. Finals for IT classes?
