Thank you, could you please elaborate?
I see a list of options to rebind or remap the meaning of the various keys.
If I understand correctly, this allows for example to use the Left Control button as if it were Meta.
If so, this is not what I want:
I want certain shortcuts to be assigned only to e.g. the left control button and not the right control button. I don't want to change what the left control button is doing in general, just to map specific shortcuts only to the left so that they won't be triggered by the right and vice versa.
A concrete example: I have a shortcut "Control+Alt+S" that runs a script that changes the EQ settings systemwide, which I use when I switch from my monitors to my headphones.
However, on TeXstudio, the same shortcut is used for "Captial Sigma", i.e. "\Sigma ".
As I said, I have tons and tons of these shortcuts to input math and physics symbols to make my workflow as fluent as possible. There aren't that many combinations that don't trigger something. After moving from Budgie, I have all sorts of these overlapping shortcuts, but it's hard for me to change them as I am so deeply used to them, plus it's difficult to find combos that make sense and aren't already taken.
