Ok so long story short: if I'm on profileA and I switch user (not log off) then log into profileB, they can't use sound.
(Side tangent:
This and a couple other things have me thinking that log in sessions are treated as seperate instances (like how power settings are set by user as well, which seems like it should be a device setting..), which also has me wondering if a few other oddities I've noticed are because of that...)
But today I'm really only focused on the sound thing.
How can I make it so that if I'm logged in, the speakers are not locked to my profile?
In case it's relevant, the speakers are built in to the monitors (technically they're just TVs), and ProfileB shows no speakers are plugged in while ProfileA is logged in.
Also, no idea what tags I should be using for this... I guessed, but please feel free to correct me, mods! 🙂
