my audio doesn't work

hello, someone will know what to do, I have a laptop with intel smart audio sst, and I wanted to install solus but the audio does not work, my computer is a huawei D14 with i3, if someone knew what can be done I would really appreciate it

Well the first thing you can do is scroll down to look at the other threads related to audio not working 😀

That being said. Try installing sof-firmware from the Software Centre. Reboot and see if it works or you can select it in "Sound".

has there been a solution to this? i have the same issue with a huawei d14 but with an i5, and installing sof-firmware did absolutely nothing

Try this: open a terminal- type alsamixer which will show your audio volume. You can also see which soundcard you are using. Check if anthing is put on Mute.

My problem is related but different, my Bluetooth just disconnects after awhile or should I say stops putting sound through into my bluetooth ear buds. Even going and disconnecting the bluetooth does not fix the problem. Generally I have to reboot to fix this.
