boot into black screen
followed boot-rescue procedure no success
flag "bios boot" on /dev/sda with gparted and then grub-install -ed but now I am offered a GRUB _ black screen and 'e' or TAB/shift, nothing works:
grub-install --recheck /dev/sda reports no errors
Any insights would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
