I have an ACER Travelmate 1B (that I actially bought for touring on my motorcycle) that's about that same size. Perhaps yours is a newer version, or at least a similar model. It came with Windows 10 soldered to the motherboard on what I assume is a version of an NVM SSD. The problem with that was the SSD was 32GB, and there would be no room to update Windows 10 ... ever.
When I opened the case, I found that it also had an internal bay designed to hold a standard 2.5" SSD, complete with the necessary SATA interface. It was just empty on the Travelmate. I installed a 500GB SSD there, and after a few adjustments to the UEFI to allow booting from it, my 32GB Windows laptop is now a 500GB Solus Budgie laptop.
I dunno what size your storage is, but if you ever want to increase that, you might pop the case open and see whether there's a similar bay inside yours.
