con19998 Hello ive been trying to create a usb to boot from ive tried the method stated and gone through 2 usb's that now cant be reset due to corruption and im wondering if theres another method. my ways ive tried were, using rufus , using ISO mode and DD image mode
Fatih19 Can you link the tutorial you use? I've gone through the same method as well but this doesn't happen to me.
con19998 kyrios what I ment was after I created the usb windows could not find the usb unless I used the Disk partition tool. which is shown on the first post where most of the drive is unallocated
Justin con19998 That's because writing the image to the USB changes it's filesystem, once you are finished installing Solus you can format it to whatever you want (FAT or NTFS) so it'll be readable in Windows.
Fatih19 I've tried Rufus in the past once and it didn't produce this kind of stuff. I would suggest to try balenaEtcher: https://www.balena.io/etcher/
con19998 I got it working thank you the budgie edition had 300mb missing on download but the MATE edition works fine
