Recently installed Solus and everything looks great for the most part, yet there is one rather irritating issue. I often connect my laptop to my TV (Hisense), but now with Solus the laptop freezes entirely when connecting HDMI (blank screen, unresponsive, Caps Lock light doesn't turn on). I have to reboot using the power button when this happens. When I boot with HDMI plugged in, the issue doesn't happen unless I remove and plug in the cable.
I noticed that this issue only happens with Solus and not other distros I tried (all 3 flavours of mint, Elementary, Zorin, Ubuntu). The problem still occurs with Solus Mate, and when booting from live USB. Also, when I connect to my monitor (Dell), everything works fine.
I am running Solus Budgie on an Asus Vivobook E203M with Intel UHD graphics 605. Advice would be much appreciated
