Disappearing minimized app in workspace

It annoys me that when I minimize an application inside a workspace, there seems to be no obvious way to restore that application afterwards. I suspect it's because the minimized app has its controls hidden, so there's no way to click on the button that would restore that window to its previous state.

Has anyone found a different way to restore such a window? I've tried F11, with no luck. Also examined the context menu with no joy. If there really is a way to restore the window, I'd love to know how to do it.

I remember having done that in the past, and I don't think if has anything to do with workspaces (which I've used forever) but for some reason it didn't work for me now. I don't know if it was because of the app -- the snapshot version of Vivaldi -- or some other reason.

I do it like brent said plus I use the super key pops desktop up to single prog or lets me select if I have more open
only using 1 workspace if more i think its super left or right arrow to cycle workspaces quick and neat.
Heck sometimes I use alt/tab..

WetGeek Agree with you. I've had unresponsive task bar icons before. Happens sometimes. Don't know why.
