Unable to change TLP settings

Hello,

As the title says I am unable to change TLP settings. To be more specific the system does not allow me to save the configuration file after I edit it. I get the following error: Cannot save file /etc/tlp.conf / Unable to create file "/etc/tlp.conf".

I saved the configuration as tlp2.conf in the same directory with the intention of using it to overwrite the initial file and now I can't delete it, I'm getting this error: No such file or directory. If I copy this file to a different directory, rename it and then try to copy/paste it over the initial tlp.conf again I'm not allowed to, I'm getting a: Cannot creat file ..

What is this travesty!? Why am I not allowed to change settings in my system!?

Oh! And why can I not start Dolphin as Root either.

You can install mc (Midnight Commander). Thensudo mc and go to file or sudo mcedit /etc/tlp.conf

Good idea! I used Double Commander since I already have that installed and it worked. I just couldn't remember the app name, it is doublecmd-qt in my case.
