what does this message mean? (simplescreenrecorder)

Trying this out today and I get this as soon as I open it:

If I select YES and have simplescreenrecorder disable 'flipping' in the nvidia package, well that helps simplescreenrecorder but what program/package does disabling flipping hurt?

I should have done this before posting. I did a little research of my own (which I should have done in the first place).
The thread (and additonal research) states that flipping should be off for gaming and screen recording (fps and glitching-related).

Delete thread its kinda stupid now. Sorry to waste your time. It appears there's no tangible side effects to disabling that read.
