Doing a fresh install of Solus 4.3

 I'm test flying on a 64 gig USB for now. I wanted to do a system update to see if the new linux would let me use the touchpad on a new Lenovo yoga laptop.
 Unfortunately, it's stuck on extracting update 53 of 274. It's been at that point for about 4 hours. I've installed Solas before on this USB, and updates haven't taken this long to download and install. But, I am trying to do the update on the live image without installing it. Could that be the problem?

Frank-Starr close terminal then update again. stalls/poor connection are not uncommon at all.

I would just try to update again, I've definitely had updates stall before.

use the terminal (sudo eopkg up) instead of the software centre; when a network transfer fails like this it'll let you know. then you can just run the command again and it'll pick up where you left off.
