Tips to maximize battery life?

Hello, I've installed Solus on a laptop for the first time and my battery isn't lasting as long as I'd like. I'm getting around 4 hours with light web use, compared to ~ 7 I was getting on Windows.

I'm already running TLP with default settings (also removed powertop because apparently you don't need both) . What else can I do?

i would suggest in addition to using the TLP app you do the following 😀

turn down the brightness level as low as possible .
if you do not need wifi or bluetooth turn them off.
open the power settings in Settings and adjust the settings there .
