Is there any possible way to get rid of everything but the network manager applet from the system tray? or similarly get rid of bluetooth from the status indicator (laptop user here). Basically i just want to have battery, volume, network and power showing on my top dock but i can't seem to have this without bluetooth or discord showing up. 🙂

Try to remove all applets that you don't need in the Budgie Desktop Settings:

And a System Tray applet too I guess.

The network "applet" is nm-applet and put into the System Tray, which shows all XEmbed-based system tray icons presented by applications. The Status Indicator is for items like bluetooth and no, those cannot be individually disabled.
