digiKam compiled without media player flag

Any idea why digiKam is compiled without the media player flag? Because of of this digiKam can't display thumbnails for videos and is not able to play them. AFAIK it's not default when compiling digiKam. Dunno why.

And exiftool is missing from the package also. Though that's no big problem because you can install it yourself easily.

edisso10018 Until this is resolved you can use the AppImage of digiKam:
https://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/7.3.0/digiKam-7.3.0-x86-64.appimage.mirrorlist

No issues with video files.

Edit:
I fixed this locally, compiling this with -DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER=ON flag is not enough. To get the features you want, it is needed also packaging QtAV and then rebuild diginKam against this package.
So you have to request this feature in https://dev.getsol.us/, and let the Core Team to decide to add QtAV or not.
