"That's never happened to me" is the reply I'm expecting here. It's usually me🙂.
(Vivaldi and I have a tense relationship in its role as my employment browser. It still does not retain different page magnification settings for certain pages. It has amnesia. I've learned to live with this.)
Lately the bottom of the browser creeps off the screen. This p*sses me off because no other app/browser does this and I need to see the url at the bottom of the browser of any link I hover over before I click on it. It's just a good habit imho.
I know it's not me. You cant purposely move a window out of sight by dragging it down with the cursor. The cursor function would not show you a drag area outside the parameter of the screen. Plus this is not something I do.
This is not in Minimized or Maximized but whatever you call the middle setting. Eventually, daily, the bottom just creeps off the screen vertically. The top stays the same. Too weird. I can drag the top of browser to the top of Solus and still not see the bottom. I can--in Budgie Settings--make my top bar disappear, drag Vivaldi to the top, and still not see the bottom inch or two.
If it's happened to you in any app the fix, I discovered, is alt-F8. It loads the power mover cursor. Enter when done.
Since I just learned this, we will see tomorrow if Vivaldi remembers this. Stay tuned🙂.
PS---this started happening likely not long before last update; don't think it's update-related. Saw nothing in dev tracker. Could be an Acer monitor thing?
I don't think the browser is growing like Pinnochio, it's got to be something else..It starts the day within the parameters of my screen (in middle view whatever that's called). Ends the day with bottom invisible. Do my clumsy fingers drag across an errant F key or unknown hot key every day?
