Axios brent the error was the top command never got to the second command it timed out It hangs up forever looks jigwadded when i stopped it..lol
brent Axios ok just checkin! what was that weird command bracketed in the middle of the output? the one that ended with 3rd-party/master/desktop? a destination? that's what made me double check
Harvey I tried it just now it completed fine, no timeout. Could have been a hicup with your connection, sourgeforge server its downloading from or the route the traffic took between the two. Only thing you can do is try again.
Axios brent Uhh Panic mode after it hung up for so long lol self inflicted..lol Ahhh got it took me 3 times restarting it in terminal but finally download them all and installed perfect thanks
brent Axios Take it from one to another. I know what /desktop is all about. It's my only destination for most everything til I put it where I want. That's a leftover habit from the WIN days where you downloaded something that GD operating system/browser would never even give you the liberty of telling you what mystery folder it was putting your download in. So you go look for your download so long you don't even remember the name of it since ms browsers didn't hold that info...... ....that's the way I remember it anyway🙂
