Failed to build mount with solbuild

I thought I would try and package some software for inclusion but I am hitting a blocker with solbuild can anyone explain what might cause this ?

I can see that the tar.gz file is downloading in an earlier step but it seems like something is missing.

Guessing you missed a few steps: https://getsol.us/articles/packaging/building-a-package/en/

Is solbuild running from sudo? make from a package directory would do this.

The only step I missed on that guide from what I can tell is running make, I have the Makefile correctly linked and solbuild has been updated.

Make give me this which is basically the same as solbuild not sure where to go next.

forgot to say this is the command I am running

sudo solbuild build package.yml -d -p main-x86_64

Looks like the sha256 sum of your source is incorrect. The error is ambiguous i know.

joebonrichie great spot I will have to watch out for that one, I would not even thought to check that from the error as it downloads , you would expect it to fail at that point 🙂
