MattX Also it's important for me to run Windows games on Linux
If your computer is at least moderately competent, the best way to run Windows applications is on Windows in a virtual machine. The overhead cost of the VM is less than many would expect. And Windows emulators aren't without significant overhead cost, either.
I use Windows 10 in a VirtualBox VM to run the Ring Doorbell application and Barnes & Noble's Nook e-book application. Neither is available in a Linux version, and none of my computers here runs on Windows. But on a Windows 10 VM on my Linux laptop, they run great.
I've never found anything to like about the various Windows emulators for Linux, but on a Windows VM, the programs simply see that as a Windows computer. Oracle's VirtualBox is in the Solus repositories, and it's easy to learn and use.
