Mesa 21.2 brings new Crocus drivers for Intel so I wonder when we expect to see it on Solus? Not asking for ETA just a rough estimate. Cheers and keep up the good work Solus team.

i hope we get mesa 21 soon..been waiting for it some time. I have seen minor issues in some games which i am sure has been already fixed in the 21 release.

Mesa 21.2.0 is a new development release. People who are concerned with stability and reliability should stick with a previous release or wait for Mesa 21.2.1.

There are Mesa drives from 'Oibaf'. They are always the latest version, but I don't know if theres a way to install them on Solus and if it's safe, because latest not always means stable.

Mesa 21.2.1 has already been released on 2021-08-19.

It is even on the official download site and release calendar, some distros already have it in their repos and released it. There were also several release announcements by news sites about it.

Yet there are no release notes or any announcements about it on the Mesa front page, making it look like 21.2.0 is still the latest version.

No idea what is going on there.

Great to see we got Mesa 21.2.2 on Solus . When I run inxi -F it still lists old i915 driver in use. Is this normal, is the new Crocus driver using the same name as the old one or I need to manually enable it?
