Are there any apps that can convert bin files to iso? i cannot install "iat" which can convert it. Is there any other alternative which I can do the thing?

cd into the unzipped .tar.gz file. Then type ./configure; make; make install and it should compile and install it properly. As you are trying to install something from source, make sure that you have installed all the base development tools by the command sudo eopkg it -c system.devel
