brent as a mechanic of over 20 years, I can tell you we will use a cheap ratchet or wrench in a hot second. If it's something we know we're going to end up putting a "cheater bar" (see 3 foot or longer piece of steel pipe) on, or we'll be taking a 3lb sledge too constantly, we'll buy some cheap throw away stuff that has a warranty and abuse the crap out of that sucker. The good stuff is treated fairly well, it's generally the go to tools, but when you get pissed off, the thing just won't budge, or you're on the last resort before reaching for Victor (oxy torch), the f*** it tools come out.
