I tried many times to install Solus Plasma in a dual boot with linux, resulting in a system that didn't show up on the boot selector, so i spent a good time trying to find a solution, and somehow someone posted the following link that provided a quick, easy and understandable (although risky if you don't type it correctly) solution that worked flawlessly, so i decided to post it here too so it gets easier to find that solution.
I'm not sure if this is the best approach, but it worked for me. Here is the solution:
Remember to always check what partition number/name you typed before pressing enter.
Just to make it clear, in Astro36' computer, /dev/sda5 was his solus root partition, but in your case it may not be.
