Cannot Connect To L2TP VPN

When I tried to connect to a L2TP VPN with IPsec Pre-shared key it doesn't connect, doesn't show any errors either....
So I tried to connect with the command below,
nmcli con up id "VPN Name"
then It says,

Error: Connection activation failed: Unknown reason
Hint: use 'journalctl -xe NM_CONNECTION=0d12482a-c4bc-45f5-8528-46d28970fa6d + NM_DEVICE=enp2s0f0u5' to get more details.

Have no idea, what's wrong,
Also I don't know if this is related in anyway, when I tried to connect (either via gui or the above command) while the journalctl -f command runs, it says

Also I found thatnetwork-manager-l2tp-gnome package isn't available on Solus, is that needed?

This probably has nothing to do with your issue, but it may give you some ideas on how to further troubleshoot (running the service with --debug for example).

What was the output of the journalctl command it told you to run?

Okay, finally figured it out......Thanks for the hint, I ran with --debug.....It turns out that it is due to libreswan, it no longer supports modp1024 which is used for phase 1 algo in the vpn....

Also is there any way to know how to run a particular service in debug mode (i.e sudo /usr/lib64/networkmanager-l2tp/nm-l2tp-service --debug), it would extremely useful if something goes wrong and will save time...The only thing i know is to lookup journalctl or doing it via a cli tool if available
