Pulse Audio and/or Equalizer

How to access Pulse Audio – it works fine in Gnome but although installed today into Solus along with the PulseAudio-Equalizer which greatly improves sound quality on my Lenovo laptop I cannot find it anywhere in the Gui interface and have not been able to find out how to run from Terminal either.
I installed Pulse Audio Effects but can't do anything with it so would much prefer the Equalizer module which hsa great resets.
Can anyone kindly help me learn how to get the PA Equalizer up and running? Since it's in the Software Center, presumably its compatible with Solus OS.

The usual command for it is qpaeq.
Have you tried it ? I suppose Solus automatically edit the pulseaudio config file to load the modules when you install it, but if it doesn't, add :

load-module module-equalizer-sink
load-module module-dbus-protocol

to ~/.config/pulse/default.pa (Can also be set on the default one in /etc/pulse/default.pa but better make use of the .config folder)

PoorPocketsMcNewHold Thank you. I had seen that qpaeq and tried it but it brings up a different equalizer GUI (alsa I believe) with no presets so not nearly as useful.

I found the config.pa file in usr/share and will see if those additions work...

Also when I run qpaeq I get three lines saying:

This is just a warning, install gtk2-engine-murrine for that.

algent Thanks. The errors went away, but I still don't have pulseaudio-equalizer running since that opens up a little alza window.
