dalto Take a look at the section that starts with <os>
I did that already, but didn't see that setting. XML and I are old friends. I'll look again at <os> specifically.
In another matter, I've so far been able to mount my NAS shares. I modified /etc/fstab
, and created folders for the shares in /mnt
, but was unable to successfully mount -a
. Apparently Boxes creates its own network, and doesn't access my local network, which includes my NAS server. Maybe I'll find a way - I'm still quite a noobie with Boxes.
I liked that when I inserted the USB key that contains my modifications for .bashrc
, fstab
, etc., it offered to mount that for me. That was nice of it. But with no access to my NAS, most of the aliases I've created won't work.
I'm not giving up on it. It just might take a while to learn Boxes' idiosyncrasies.
Another unexpected feature is sharing the clipboard with the host. Here's all that's in <os>:
<os>
<type arch="x86_64" machine="pc-i440fx-6.0">hvm</type>
<boot dev="hd"/>
</os>
What would point to UEFI or BIOS there?
