Hi there!

I recentely purchased a BetaFPV controller to fly drones, but since I'm a newbie I'm using a Simulator in Steam (LiftOff).

When I do lsusb while the controller is plugged in and turned on I do see the controller. However, Steam doesn't recognize it as such.

Here's lsusb's output (the controller is Device 006):

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I tried it on Windows and it installs it as a Joystick after a few seconds. Works well there.

Thank you for any help!

OK, so running the simulator outside of steam made it work perfectly.

Posting in case someone has the same issue. Read this thread: https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/issues/9377

EDIT: If you launch Big Picture mode you can select Liftoff -> Manage Game -> Controller Options -> Forced Off. Launch the game from Big Picture mode and the controller gets detected.
