I have Linux mint installed on my laptop. I have use Linux Mint for about 12 years now, but start to want to try other distros and I found Solus exciting distro that I want to try.
I have installed Solus on VirtualBox, and after that I want the real thing on my laptop.
Installing seems to quite easy and seems to finish without any errors, but when I reboot my laptop I don't see Solus there.....
To tell all the story, I bought new SSD on my laptop, parted it and installed Solus on part sda1 and then installed Manjaro on sda2. Manjaro did somehow fuck-up my boot and after I deleted all partitions on my new SSD booted my laptop with USB (linux-mint) and run grub-repair I was able to see the boot window again.
Then I parted the new disk again and installed Solus again on sda1 and Manjaro on sda2 (without selecting the boot option), but still I cannot see Solus on my boot window. I only see Mint, Windows and Manjaro (but Manjaro seems to stay there from the previus install, I don't know why, and I cannot boot into it)
I have boot to my Linux-Mint and update-grub and it say it found Solus (4.3) on /dev/sda1 (and Manjaro on sda2), but when I restart the machin, the grub2 (mint theme) only show Mint, Windows, and this nonworking Manjaro.
