New software one application at a time

Seems to me that using Software center it is not possible to select more than one application to install. For each program I have to insert administrator password and wait till installation is finished, before I can select a second application, password again, and so on. Is there a way to select applications I want to install all together?

I do agree the software center should be able to do this (like pamac) but i think in the future it should be able to.

Yes a queue-based system is already planned for a rewritten Software Center.
